I’m Sheila, a Registered Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience supporting people through different stages of life.
Over the years, I’ve learned how often life doesn’t turn out like we planned. Relationships can become difficult and life can bring unexpected challenges. Experiences from the past or a change in circumstances may continue to impact how we’re feeling in the present.
I work with you to better understand what you’re experiencing and find ways to move forward. I work with adults and couples managing relationship difficulties, emotional distress, loss, anxiety, and the various experiences that impact how we feel and connect with others.
If you’d like to learn more about my background and experience, you can read more about me here.
You don’t have to figure it all out on your own
If you’re looking for support with concerns such as anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, caregiving stress, questioning your purpose, or difficult past experiences, please reach out and see if working together may be a good fit.
I offer a free, 15-minute consultation where we can talk briefly about what you’re looking for and I can answer any questions you may have.
Sometimes you know something needs to change but aren’t sure where to start. Individual therapy provides a space to understand what you’re experiencing and work to resolve challenges that can feel difficult to manage on your own.
Couples Therapy
$180
When you’re having the same problems over and over, it can be difficult to know how to fix things. I help couples understand their patterns, communicate differently, and make thoughtful decisions about their relationship.
For people who would like their faith to be part of the therapy process, Christian counselling is available upon request. Your faith and values can be thoughtfully brought into counselling in a way that respects your beliefs and values.
